the earth is dressed in a song of white, some people are unhappy; but i consider it a blessing— not everyone is ready for spring and flowers and birdsongs, some of us find blessings in the softness and solace of the silence in winter; i have heard too many happy songs when i am somber so let me cling to these last lyrics of diamonds and coldness as i wrap myself up cozy in blankets, drifting away into worlds of my own creation.
