Aayo Magazine is an online literary magazine that aims to publish new writing from emerging as well as established writers.
Aayo in Bété, a language from the west of the Ivory Coast, is a multilayered and positive word. It is used to greet, welcome, express gratitude and to congratulate. Its spelling with the emphasis on the letter A is to address more than one person.
With this, we would like to welcome and encourage you to share your writing with us and create a community of writers that appreciate the power of good stories.
We are looking for previously unpublished work of fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction.
Fiction: 500 to 2000 words in any genre
Poetry: up to 3 poems
Creative non-fiction: We are looking for memoir pieces for our section on extraordinary lives. We want to hear about your unusual stories and extraordinary events that happened to you. Up to 2000 words.
Please send your stories and poems to info@aayomagazine.com
We look forward to reading you!
